We met in high school 12 years ago (he was my first boyfriend, I was a little freshman and he was a junior). After Tim graduated I never saw him again until January of 2007. We were both at our friends bachelor and bachelorette party, the party bus picked us girls up from Denny’s restaurant and the boys were on the bus! When we saw each other for the first time in many years it was all over after that,,,we were in love :)
Tim proposed to me on December 21st, he was supposed to wait until Christmas day.. But I think the anticipation was killing him.
How it was done:
I came home from work and Tim was lying on the couch. He calmly asked me
"Do you want your Christmas present?"
Me "umm duh, of course I do!"
Tim "go on the bottom shelf of the safe (which I bought him for that same Christmas) and it is in a white bag"
Me "run run run, unlock, open, scream!"
Tim “sooo I guess that was a yes"
Me "yes yes yes yes, and I started to cry"
And that is how Tim proposed :)
After five wonderful years I get to marry my best friend on March 3, 2012 |
