We met through baseball and the Paddock's. Alicia was in the 6th grade, Timmy in the 7th. We used to run around together! We were each other's first kiss!! Although Alicia knew right away, it took a few years for Timmy to realize she was the one!
After only dating a few short weeks, we decided to move to Florida and make a life for our selves. The first year was a rough one, learning to live together but we stuck with it and fell more in love. |
Alicia had no idea! We started to get ready for Timmy's birthday dinner... Timmy was all dressed up and Alicia was dressed more casual. Timmy even asked if she wanted to fix her hair!! We went to Zenna, our favorite sushi stop! With the worst service ever! But after a nervious and awkward dinner, we decided to go to Klyde Warren Park to see all the Christmas lights. Dallas at this time was extremely cold and Alicia was bundled up, gloves and all.. Timmy was taking his time parking, and getting out of the car. Timmy was acting so nervous and weird but Alicia just kinda blew it off. As walking up to the park, Alicia was all excited and wanted to take selfies in front of the large Christmas tree. Timmy had plans of his own. Timmy asked Alicia to move over to the right, and that's when it happened. Timmy dropped down on his knee and said " The only thing I want for my birthday, is for you to be my wife". Alicia, so in shock says "Are you serious right now?! Of course! Yes!". It was the perfect night! |
