Welcome

Avi & Brad both attended Robinson Highschool in Fairfax, Virginia. Brad was an avid football and lacrosse player. Avi was on the cheerleading squad. Brad and Avi both had their eyes on each other during highschool but did not officially start dating until 2013 when they reunited to watch a Redskins game at a local bar. Sparks flew immediately and their relationship continued to grow. Brad and Avi decided they wanted to relocate to warmer waters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the night before the big move was the night that they became engaged. It was New Years Eve and also their anniversary. Brad had planned a romantic evening of dinner and ice skating at National Harbor. After Brad proposed, he whisked his new fiance home to celebrate and ring in the New Year with both of their families and close friends.

Avi says, "I'm so excited for the adventures to come with my best friend. He truly is my other half and I can't imagine a day without him around".

Brad says, "I knew she was the one the moment I saw her smile the night that we reconnected in that bar. I fall more and more in love with her each day".

I met Matt at my best friend's wedding. He was the brother of the groom and there he was dancing with the flower girl, his niece, Vanessa. His smile and fun attitude made her smile from ear to ear and it seemed like everyone that was around Matt would walk away happier that they met him. I wanted to talk to him so bad and I noticed throughout the day an exchange of glances between us but I was so shy. Then Vanessa came up to me, the cutest little girl, holding a note, she handed it to me and then quickly ran away.

"We should be dancing & smiling together! ~ Matt"

That's all it took and we have been together to this day. We are so much in love and can not wait to share our special day with all of our family and friends.

Our love of the beach and water makes our beach wedding no surprise to anyone. Our wedding will be on May 24, 2015 (Memorial Day Weekend).

We will be celebrating at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Website is here: www.pelicanbeach.com. We have reserved a block of hotel rooms for our visiting guests. Any room that our guests book will be 25% off from the normal room rates. If interested in reserving a room please contact our wedding coordinate Janeth at jalvarez@pelicanbeach.com.

The ceremony is going to be very casual, we are hoping for everyone to dress comfortably and take advantage of the Florida sun. It is only a matter of time until I take those first steps down the sandy aisle in my wedding dress to become Mrs. Brad Baecht! This will be an event to remember and we can't wait to share it with all of you!

Brad and I would like to thank all of our dearest family and friends for simply being here for us. You all have done so much and have made such a remarkable positive difference in our lives. We cherish the friendship and love you gave us, and continue to give to us. Thank you for visiting our wedding website and honeymoon registry. You all have blessed our lives and we can't wait to share our special day with you!
