As you all know, we knew each other long before we became a couple! No one could have guessed that we'd end up together! The flirting began at Missy's wedding...which led to texting, phone calls, and coffee chats. Things really started when Brooks lived in Chicago. We started talking over the phone daily, which led to great conversations where we really got to know each other. If you ask us, we feel him living in Chicago really made us get to know each other and helped us build a strong foundation for our relationship. Eventually, Brooks moved home and we started "dating". A year and a half later we were pleasantly surprised with the news of our pregnancy...and even more surprised when Dr. Stone told us there were two in there! It's been a whirlwind ever since! Brooks proposed on Christmas Eve 2009 in front of both of our families (Yes, Shawn, he asked for my parents' blessing first ). In the end we are very lucky. We feel so blessed with our family and the people in our lives.

We are getting married at 2000 Grand. It is located in downtown Kansas City in the Crossroads District. It's between Crown Center and the Sprint Center. Tisha becomes an Ingrassia on November 6th at 6:00 PM. The reception follows immediately at the same location. There is a seating chart for the ceremony, but people may choose where they sit for the reception.
