The Big Day - Powered by Honeymoon Wishes

I never thought that the day I started working as a bill collector for NCO that I would meet the man of my dreams through such an awful job, especially since I was not available at the time nor was I looking. The day I came in for training, the room was full of unfamiliar faces. He was there, up in the front left corner, sitting alone and looking shy. When I saw him, I instantly knew we would be friends. Soon I found that we shared not only a love of computers and science but also a sassy sense of humor.

Before long, we were spending time together daily, eating together, watching movies, playing video games and boardgames with mutual friends. He quickly became my best friend. When I was forced to move due to financial reasons, I asked Robert to come along as a roommate.

When my previous relationship went south, after the breakup, and during the healing period that followed, Robert was always there to offer a shoulder to cry on. Finally in January 2008, I expressed my newfound feelings for him. It turns out he felt the same way. We now live in our own place in Ann Arbor, MI.

Our wedding will be in Gallup Park in Ypsilanti, MI on July 10, 2011 at 15:00. Rabbi Robert Levy will be officiating. The reception will be in the same place, following the wedding and yichud. My dress will be made by Jamie Scott of Jackson, MI, the chuppah and ketubah will be provided by Temble Beth Emeth of Ann Arbor, the DJ will be Cyle Lublin of Ann Arbor. Catering and beverages are TBA.

As noted in my wedding registry, we are going overseas for our honeymoon. Any contribution would be very much appreciated. What's not noted there is that we are going to sunny Tel Aviv, Israel for a week of sun and fun. There, we will not only get to spend time in our honeymoon suite and out on the town but will meet mutual friends staying there as well. The exact airline we'll take is TBD but we're shopping around for bargains.
