The Big Day - Powered by Honeymoon Wishes

We met many years ago at a place many of you may know called, Jeffersonville High School! :-) Demond was my first high school crush with his hot calves and sexy umbros on. Needless to say I had his eye for a time and then we parted in not a good way and I held a grudge for a while. :-) We ran into each other several times in all the years since we both graduated and talked a few times, but that's about it.

Last year we found each other on Facebook...he was giving away free massages for school and I was in! But of course I had to cook for him, that's what I do! I guess you can say that finally food was the way to a man's heart for me! We kissed and have stayed together ever since!

This has not been an easy year with several health conditions for me and both of us starting our own businesses but we continue to fall in love more every day and feel so very lucky to have found each other again!

We are getting married on May 21, 2011!!!!!! We are having a simple and elegant spring garden themed wedding. We hope everyone will come in their beautiful spring colors to eat, dance and celebrate with us!

We would like to announce to everyone a part of our wedding that we are VERY VERY excited about! We both feel so blessed to have so much and to be provided for, so we have chosen in leau of wedding gifts, we would like to encourage our wedding guests to please donate to a charity that we feel very passionate about.

We found this precious group while Demond was doing massages for an amazing swing convention that we went to with my mom in Ft Mitchell, KY last month. All of the money raised went to this group to help pay for their lessons and costumes and travel...they are the Down Syndrome Dancers!!!!! There is a great studio in Cincinnati that donates space and one night a week for anyone with Down Syndrome to come and learn to dance. We were both in tears and so touched by this amazing group!!! They are taught many routines to perform and hopefully will be able to make it to perform for all of us at the reception so that you can meet them!

You can see them perform at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5mHC5QndoI

It is our greatest desire to help this group to continue to be able to teach and perform and all donations will touch our heart more than you could know!
